Apple Calendar (Desktop Only)

On Cadeo Desktop, you can connect your Apple Calendar to see native macOS calendar events alongside your Google Calendar.

Connecting Apple Calendar

  1. Open Settings on Cadeo Desktop
  2. Enable the Apple Calendar integration
  3. Approve the macOS permission prompt to access Calendar

No OAuth flow is needed — Cadeo uses the native macOS EventKit framework.

What You Can Do

  • View events from all your Apple calendars in the Timeline and Week views
  • Toggle calendars — show or hide individual calendars
  • Create events in writable calendars with title, time, date, location, and notes
  • Delete events from writable calendars
  • Location search powered by native macOS location services

How Events Display

Apple Calendar events are merged with Google Calendar events in your timeline view. Events refresh automatically every 5 minutes, covering a 60-day window (30 days past, 30 days future).
