Apple Calendar (Desktop Only)
On Cadeo Desktop, you can connect your Apple Calendar to see native macOS calendar events alongside your Google Calendar.
Connecting Apple Calendar
- Open Settings on Cadeo Desktop
- Enable the Apple Calendar integration
- Approve the macOS permission prompt to access Calendar
No OAuth flow is needed — Cadeo uses the native macOS EventKit framework.
What You Can Do
- View events from all your Apple calendars in the Timeline and Week views
- Toggle calendars — show or hide individual calendars
- Create events in writable calendars with title, time, date, location, and notes
- Delete events from writable calendars
- Location search powered by native macOS location services
How Events Display
Apple Calendar events are merged with Google Calendar events in your timeline view. Events refresh automatically every 5 minutes, covering a 60-day window (30 days past, 30 days future).
