To-Do Lists in Notes

Create interactive checklists in your notes.

Creating a To-Do List​

  1. Type /todo in the editor
  2. A to-do item appears with a circle checkbox
  3. Type your item and press Enter for more

Checking Items​

Click the circle checkbox to mark items complete:

  • Empty circle: Not done
  • Filled circle: Complete (with strikethrough)

Checkbox Style​

Cadeo uses modern circular checkboxes:

  • Blue outline when unchecked
  • Blue filled circle when checked
  • Text gets strikethrough when complete

Nested To-Dos​

Indent to-do items for sub-tasks:

  1. Press Tab to indent
  2. Press Shift+Tab to outdent

Markdown Shortcut​

Type [] (bracket bracket space) at the start of a line to create a to-do item.

To-do lists in notes are separate from your main task list. Use them for quick checklists within a note.
