  3. Select Send to Cadeo
  4. A modal appears with:
    • Task Title — type your own title for the task
    • Project — optionally assign to a project
    • Priority — optionally set priority (Low, Medium, High)
  5. Click Create Task

The task appears in your Cadeo inbox with:

  • The title you entered
  • The original Slack message saved in the task notes
  • A View in Slack link back to the original message
  • A Slack badge showing the source channel

Identifying Slack Tasks

Tasks created from Slack show a small Slack badge in the task list with the channel name (e.g., #engineering). This helps you distinguish Slack-captured tasks from manually created ones or email tasks.

Disconnecting

  1. Go to Settings > Calendars tab
  2. Click Disconnect next to Slack
  3. Confirm in the dialog

After disconnecting, the "Send to Cadeo" shortcut in Slack will prompt you to reconnect.
