Creating Tasks

Learn all the ways to create tasks in Cadeo.

From the Inbox

Tasks view

  1. Go to Inbox in the sidebar
  2. Type your task in the input field
  3. Press Enter

With Natural Language

Type dates and times naturally:

  • "Submit report tomorrow at 9am"
  • "Call client next Friday"
  • "Review budget in 3 days"

The date appears highlighted in blue as you type.

From the Timeline

  1. Go to Today or Week view
  2. Double-click on an empty time slot
  3. A task is created at that time

From Meeting Notes

  1. Open a calendar event
  2. Go to the Notes tab
  3. Type /task followed by the task name
  4. The task is created and linked to the meeting

Quick Add (Cmd+N)

Press Cmd+N from anywhere to quickly create a task.
