Meeting Action Items

Create tasks directly from meeting notes.

Creating Action Items

  1. Open a calendar event
  2. Go to the Notes tab
  3. Type /task followed by the task title
  4. Press Enter

The task is created and linked to the meeting.

Action Items Section

When you create tasks from a meeting:

  • An Action Items section appears at the bottom of meeting notes
  • All linked tasks are listed there
  • You can check them off as you complete them

Meeting Badge

Tasks created from meetings show a Meeting badge:

  • The badge is Cadeo blue
  • Click it to navigate back to the source meeting
  • Helps you remember context

Where Action Items Appear

Meeting tasks appear in:

  • Your Inbox (for processing)
  • The Action Items section of the meeting
  • Today/Week views when scheduled

Best Practices

  • Create action items during the meeting
  • Assign clear owners if working with a team
  • Schedule items immediately for accountability
